Do you edit the furniture in your photographs?

Accepted Answer

Only to crop and adjust the brightness if necessary. We don’t edit out any blemishes or imperfections - the item in the picture is exactly the item you’ll receive.

Question 3

How do you refinish your furniture?

Accepted Answer

We carefully remove the old lacquer and varnish, nourish the wood, and bring out the depth and colour of the original grain.
We only use professional, trade, and made-to-order products on our furniture. And we’re not giving you any more detail than that...

Can I view or select furniture before I buy?

Yes! We don’t have a retail shop, but you’re welcome to view any item by appointment in our workshop. One thing we always have is coffee...

We’ll do our best to accommodate any requests - get in touch and tell us what you need.

All prices shown on the website are in GBP(£). The price does not include delivery.

Can I collect a purchase myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Collection is from our workshop in the Markham Vale Environment Centre. We have a large loading area and plenty of parking.

Can I arrange my own courier?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that would be fine.
 
We strongly advise using a firm specialising in vintage furniture transport, with Goods in Transit insurance. Please contact us if you would like any recommendations.
Note that we do not accept network carriers.
All your furniture is properly packaged and wrapped for it's journey and we make sure to photograph each shipment before it leaves.

How much for delivery in the UK?

We are happy to deliver locally for free.
 
Delivery to most areas in the UK typically falls in the £40-£70 range. More remote areas of Scotland, Wales and parts of Cornwall may cost a little more and will take slightly longer to arrive.

Can you arrange international delivery?

Yes. In fact, most of our furniture goes to Europe (especially Paris, Rome, Berlin and Barcelona) and some pieces have even found their way to New Zealand.

Will my furniture be safe in transit?

Accepted Answer

We only use expert furniture shipping companies to ensure your item arrives safe and sound, and we make sure each item is properly protected for the journey in custom-made boxes and packaging.
