Ercol Two-Drawer Console Table with Trestle Base, 1960s
1960s Ercol two-drawer console table with sculpted oval handles and a trestle base. Collected from Stockwell, refurbished in our North Derbyshire workshop, sold through Vinterior and delivered by Retro Cactus Furniture to Islington, London.
The Story of This Piece
This 1960s Ercol console table combines an elm cabinet with a beech trestle base. Its two drawers each have a pair of oval wooden handles set into sculpted recesses. Exposed dovetail joints detail the upper corners, while a low stretcher connects the two end supports.
We collected the table from Stockwell, London, and refurbished it in our North Derbyshire workshop. It was sold through Vinterior and delivered by Retro Cactus Furniture to its new home in Islington, London.
