Ercol Model 510 Slide-Leg Extending Dining Table, 1970s
1970s Ercol Model 510 slide-leg extending dining table with an elm top and beech legs. Refurbished in our North Derbyshire workshop, sold through Vinterior, then delivered and set up by Retro Cactus Furniture in Dartmouth Park, London.
The Story of This Piece
This 1970s Ercol Model 510 dining table has a rounded rectangular elm top and tapered beech legs. Its slide-leg mechanism opens the table to accommodate a folding central extension, with additional legs supporting the extended top.
The photographs show the table closed, extended and with its extension mechanism open, alongside details of the elm grain and rounded edges.
We refurbished the table in our North Derbyshire workshop before it was sold through Vinterior. Retro Cactus Furniture delivered and set up the table in its new home in Dartmouth Park, London.
