The Story of This Piece
Collected in Leeds, this 1960s Ercol Model 439 writing desk was professionally refinished in our Derbyshire workshop. We sold it directly and delivered it to its new home in Kendal, Cumbria.
The desk combines a full-width lower drawer with a raised writing unit: two small drawers sit either side of an open centre shelf. Its English elm grain, beech legs, dovetail joints and original blue Ercol label are shown in the photographs.
