Birch & Beech Bedside Tables, 1960s — North Uist
A matching pair of 1960s Scandinavian-style bedside tables made from birch plywood with solid beech legs. Collected in Burton upon Trent, professionally refinished in our Derbyshire workshop, sold via Vinterior and delivered to the Isle of North Uist, Scotland.
The Story of This Piece
We collected this matching pair of 1960s bedside tables in Burton upon Trent and professionally refinished them in our Derbyshire workshop. Sold via Vinterior, they then travelled to their new home on the Isle of North Uist, Scotland.
The open birch-plywood cubbies provide space for books and bedside essentials, while the tall solid beech legs give the pair their light Scandinavian-style appearance. The gallery shows the tables together, their open storage and the grain across both tops.
