1960s Ercol Model 482 Dressing Table – Delivered to Oban
A 1960s Ercol Model 482 dressing table in English elm and beech, carefully refinished in our Derbyshire workshop and delivered to Oban, Scotland.
The Story of This Piece
Identified as Ercol Model 482, this dressing table appears in Ercol's 1965 furniture brochure. This example was collected in Newcastle upon Tyne before coming to our Derbyshire workshop.
Made from solid elm and beech, it retains its adjustable wood-framed mirror, sculpted recessed drawer handles and practical sliding glass shelves within the end drawers.
We carefully refinished the piece to reveal the natural colour and grain of the timber while preserving its original form and character. Once completed, we personally delivered the dressing table to its new home in Oban, Scotland.
