The Story of This Piece
We collected this rare 1960s Ercol Model 513 refectory dining table locally in Matlock, Derbyshire. Its sculptural curved beech frame supports a beautifully figured solid English elm top, giving the table a light yet substantial presence.
We carefully refinished the table to reveal the natural colour, grain and contrast of the two timbers while preserving its original character. Once completed, we personally delivered it from our Derbyshire workshop to its new home in Zug, Switzerland.
